Creating Your Account

Get started with EquineOps by creating your account. This guide will walk you through the entire setup process.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A valid email address
  • Basic information about your barn or facility
  • Credit card information (if signing up for a paid plan)

Free Trial Available: All new accounts come with a 7-day free trial. No credit card required to start!

Creating Your Account

Visit the Sign-Up Page

Navigate to app.equineops.com/sign-up  in your web browser.

Enter Your Information

You can sign up using either email/password or single sign-on:

Option 1: Email and Password

  • Email Address: Your work or business email
  • Password: Choose a strong password (at least 8 characters)
  • Full Name: Your first and last name

Option 2: Google Single Sign-On (Recommended)

  • Click the “Continue with Google” button
  • Select your Google account
  • Authorize EquineOps to access your basic profile information

Password Security: If using email/password, we recommend using a password manager to generate and store a strong, unique password.

Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for a verification email from EquineOps. Click the verification link to confirm your email address.

Didn’t receive the email? Check your spam folder.

Complete Your Organization Profile

After verifying your email, you’ll be prompted to set up your organization:

  • Organization Name: Your business or facility name
  • Address: Physical location (helps with timezone settings)
  • Phone Number: Contact number for your business

Choose Your Plan

Select the plan that best fits your needs, each tier has the option to add client portals (owners love them!):

  • Starter: Up to 15 horses
  • Professional: Up to 40 horses
  • Enterprise: Up to 80 horses
  • Unlimited: Unlimited horses

Remember, you can start with a 7-day free trial on any plan!

Start Using EquineOps

Once your account is set up, you’ll be taken through onboarding where you can:

  • Integrate with Quickbooks (optional)
  • Import your information and files
  • Edit staff, clients, and horses

Troubleshooting

Can’t Verify Email

If you’re having trouble verifying your email:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Make sure you’re using the correct email address
  3. Request a new verification email from the login page
  4. Contact support if the issue persists

Account Already Exists

If you receive an “account already exists” error:

  1. Try logging in with your email address
  2. Use the “Forgot Password” link if you don’t remember your password
  3. Contact support if you believe this is an error
