Treatment Program
The Treatment Program is a daily planning tool that helps you track medical treatments, medication administration, and therapeutic care for all your horses. It uses a grid view similar to the Training Board, with a flexible date window that you can adjust from 1 to 7 days.
Perfect for: Barn managers tracking daily medications, wound care protocols, vet follow-ups, and any medical treatments where you need to see all horses and their treatment status at a glance.
How the Treatment Program Works
The Treatment Program displays a grid with:
- Rows: Each horse in your organization (alphabetically)
- Columns: Days in your selected view window (1, 3, 5, or 7 days)
- Cells: Treatment entries with autocomplete suggestions
This layout makes it easy to:
- Track daily medication administration
- Monitor wound care and therapeutic treatments
- See which horses need attention today
- Coordinate treatment responsibilities among staff

Be Specific with Treatment Details
Include important details in treatment names:

- 5 Days: Managing week-long treatment protocols
- 7 Days: Overview of the entire week’s treatment schedule
Coordinate with Health Program
The Treatment Program is for daily treatment tracking. For recording vet visits, vaccinations, and other periodic health events with due date tracking, use the Health Program.
Common Questions
Q: What’s the difference between Treatment Program and Health Program?
A: The Treatment Program is a daily grid for tracking ongoing treatments (medications, wound care, therapy). The Health Program records periodic health events (vet visits, vaccinations, deworming) with due date tracking. Use both together - the Health Program for scheduling and recording vet visits, and the Treatment Program for daily treatment administration.
Q: Can I add multiple treatments per horse per day?
A: Each cell supports one treatment entry. For horses with multiple daily treatments, each treatment gets its own entry in the grid.
Q: What happens to old treatment data?
A: Treatment data is kept for historical reference. Navigate to past dates to see what treatments were administered and completed.
Q: Why can’t clients see the Treatment Program?
A: The Treatment Program is an internal staff tool for managing daily medical care. Clients can see treatment-related information through their horse’s profile and the Activity Feed.
Q: Can I print the treatment schedule?
A: Yes, you can print the current view to post in the barn, similar to the Training Board print feature.
