Kiosk Mode
Turn any device into a shared barn station where staff can identify themselves, make changes, and have their actions logged automatically.
Kiosk mode is designed for shared devices in the barn — a tablet mounted on the wall, a laptop in the feed room, or any computer that multiple staff members use throughout the day. Instead of each person logging in and out of their own account, kiosk mode lets staff select their name (and optionally enter a PIN) before making changes.
Key Features
- Staff identification — Staff select their profile before making changes, so you always know who did what
- Optional PIN security — Require a 4-6 digit PIN for identity confirmation
- Activity logging — Every action taken in kiosk mode is recorded with the staff member’s name, timestamp, and what they changed
- Navigation control — Choose which pages are visible on the kiosk device
- Session timeout — Automatically end sessions after a period of inactivity, or set to never
- Continuous data refresh — Data stays up to date as long as the screen is on
Admin or Manager required: Only Admins and Managers can enable and configure kiosk mode settings.
