EquineOps offers two plan tiers for service provider organizations, each tailored to a specific discipline.

Available Plans by Discipline
Farrier Plans
- Farrier Solo — For individual farriers managing their own book of business
- Farrier Team — For farrier shops with assistants or multiple farriers
Dentist Plans
- Dentist Solo — For individual equine dentists
- Dentist Team — For dental practices with support staff
Additional disciplines (veterinarian, chiropractor, etc.) will receive dedicated plans as they become available. In the meantime, providers of all types can be invited to barns as external staff at no cost.
Solo Plan Details
The Solo plan is designed for independent providers who work alone:
- One user account — your provider portal, your data
- Full business tools — visits, invoicing, inventory, calendar, documents
- Stripe payments — send invoices with payment links so barns can pay online
- Inventory tracking — automatic stock adjustments when you complete visits
- Unlimited barn connections — connect to as many barns as you serve
Team Plan Details
The Team plan adds collaboration and accounting tools for growing practices:
- Up to 5 team members — invite assistants, office staff, or additional providers
- Role-based access — Admins manage settings and billing; Managers handle invoicing and connections; Members log visits and appointments
- QuickBooks Online integration — sync invoices, payments, expenses, barns, and service types to your QuickBooks account
- Everything in Solo — all the same business tools, now shared across your team

Inventory Tracking (All Plans)
Track your supplies and materials with automatic stock management:
- Categories: Shoes, pads, adhesives, tools, and other supplies
- Automatic deductions: Stock decreases when you complete visits with linked items
- Low-stock alerts: Dashboard warnings when items reach your reorder threshold
- Ledger history: Complete audit trail of every stock change with reason tracking
- Manual adjustments: Record new shipments or corrections at any time
QuickBooks Integration (Team Plan)
Keep your accounting in sync without double entry:
- One-way sync: Data flows from EquineOps to QuickBooks Online
- Barns → Customers: Each barn you serve becomes a QuickBooks customer
- Service Types → Items: Your service catalog syncs as QuickBooks items
- Invoices → Invoices: Sent invoices push to QuickBooks with line items
- Payments → Payments: Recorded payments sync to QuickBooks
- Expenses → Purchases: Your expenses sync as QuickBooks purchases
- Sync history: Full log of every sync operation with error tracking
QuickBooks integration syncs data from EquineOps to QuickBooks only. Changes made directly in QuickBooks are not pulled back into EquineOps.
Upgrading Your Plan
You can upgrade from Solo to Team at any time:
- Go to Settings in your provider portal
- Click Manage Subscription
- Select the Team plan for your discipline
- Your existing data is preserved — team features activate immediately
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. Both Solo and Team plans include a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No charge until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime.
What happens when I reach the team member limit?
On the Solo plan, only you can access the portal. On the Team plan, you can invite up to 5 members. If you need more, contact support.
Can I switch disciplines?
Plans are tied to your provider discipline (farrier or dentist), which is set when you create your organization. Contact support if you need to change disciplines.
Do barns pay anything for my provider connection?
No. Barns connect with you through their own subscription. Your provider plan is separate and only covers your own business tools.
